## About

Birmingham Cathedral, properly the Cathedral Church of Saint Philip, is the Anglican cathedral of the Diocese of Birmingham. Built by Thomas Archer between 1709 and 1715 in English Baroque style, it became a cathedral in 1905 when the diocese was created. The cathedral is internationally famous for its four large stained-glass windows by Edward Burne-Jones, made by William Morris & Co between 1885 and 1897 — among the finest examples of Pre-Raphaelite stained glass in the world.
