## About

Derby Cathedral, the Cathedral Church of All Saints, is the seat of the Bishop of Derby. The 16th-century west tower is the second tallest perpendicular Gothic tower in England, surpassed only by Boston Stump. The current nave was designed by James Gibbs in the 1720s in classical style, making it an unusual blend of late medieval and Georgian architecture. The cathedral became cathedral church of the new Diocese of Derby in 1927.
