Greyfriars Kirk in Edinburgh's Old Town is one of the most historically significant churches in Scotland. Established in 1620 on the site of a Franciscan friary, it is the church where the National Covenant was signed in 1638 — the founding document of the Presbyterian Church of Scotland.
