About Hull Minster
Hull Minster, formerly known as Holy Trinity Church, is the largest parish church in England by floor area. Begun around 1300, its transepts contain some of the earliest brickwork in any English church. In 2017, during Hull's year as UK City of Culture, it was elevated to minster status by the Archbishop of York — only the second minster designation in modern times. The church anchors Hull's Old Town and remains an active centre of Anglican worship in the Diocese of York.

What is worship in this tradition usually like?
Anglican (Church of England) worship follows the rhythm of the Book of Common Prayer and Common Worship. Sunday services often range from a said early-morning Holy Communion to a main mid-morning Sung Eucharist or Morning Prayer, and many parishes hold Choral Evensong later in the day. Services blend set liturgy, hymns, Scripture readings and a sermon. Everyone is welcome, whether you are exploring faith or returning to church.
This describes the wider tradition. The format at this particular church may vary.
