About St Peter-upon-Cornhill Church
St Peter-upon-Cornhill is believed to be the oldest site of Christian worship in London, traditionally said to have been founded by the first bishop of London in 179 AD. Rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire, it contains an original Wren organ screen and remains a place of quiet contemplative worship in the heart of the City.
