The Oratory — the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Brompton Road, South Kensington — is one of the finest Catholic church buildings in England. Built by Herbert Gribble and opened in 1884 in the Italian Baroque style, the London Oratory is staffed by the Congregation of the Oratory of St Philip Neri.
