What is worship in this tradition usually like?
Quaker (Religious Society of Friends) worship is normally held mostly in silence. Friends gather and wait in stillness, with anyone free to speak briefly if they feel moved to. There is no set liturgy, no minister leading from the front and no music or sermon in the usual sense. Newcomers are warmly welcomed; simply arrive a few minutes early.
