About St Anne's Cathedral, Leeds

St Anne's Cathedral — Leeds Cathedral — is the Roman Catholic cathedral of the Diocese of Leeds and the seat of the Bishop of Leeds, standing between Cookridge Street and Great George Street in the city centre. Built between 1901 and 1904 to designs by John Henry Eastwood in an Arts and Crafts Gothic style, it was consecrated in 1924 and extensively restored in 2006. The cathedral is renowned for its music, sung by choirs drawn from the Diocese of Leeds Schools Singing Programme, and its Sunday Mass is livestreamed each week.
